Images from a trip to Amador County, California

As has been our periodic habit since 1995, we visited the Gold Rush Country in Amador County of California in 2002, following the San Francisco Marathon. The area grows some of the best zinfandel grapes in the world and is dotted with charming small towns and wineries.
